Collaborations
CNRS TREFLE (Bordeaux, Francia)
Collaboration of CIC Staff in the project of Advanced materials: thermal and chemical analysis of PCMs at microscopical scale or Supercritical Fluids, leaded by Dr. Elena Palomo The agreement is not only oriented to this specific project but also to establish a framework for employee swapping and developing joint research projects. After the collaboration CIC Staff will rejoin their own CIC work and research groups, maintaining the collaboration dynamics acquired during their transfer.
DLR (Stuttgart, Alemania)
Collaboration of CIC Staff in two projects one related to Latent Heat storage and other related to Thermo – Chemical storage, both leaded by Dr Rainer Tamme. The agreement is not only oriented to this specific project but also to establish a framework for employee swapping and developing joint research projects. After the collaboration CIC Staff will rejoin their own CIC work and research groups, maintaining the collaboration dynamics acquired during their transfer.
NREL (Denver-USA).
Long-term collaboration framework for employee swapping and developing joint research projects. After the collaboration CIC Staff will rejoin their own CIC work and research groups, maintaining the collaboration dynamics acquired during their transfer. The first project in which there is CIC staff collaborating is focused in "Advanced heat transfer fluids (HTF): nanofluids molecular modelling and / or experimental studies" leaded by Dr Greg. Glatzmaier.
INASMET-TECNALIA
Collaboration in the framework of ETORTEK programs for the identifying of new candidate molten salts for Thermal Energy Storage focused on:
* Salts with lower melting point.
* Salts that can operate at higher temperature.
TEKNIKER-IK4
Collaboration in the framework of ETORTEK programs in the Thermal Energy Storage area focused on:
* Developing new thermal systems for high temperature.
* Advanced systems with latent and sensible heat storage.
* Studying and developing proccedure for PCM.
CIEMAT (Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, Medioambientales y Tecnológicas)
Cooperation agreement between CIEMAT and CIC energiGUNE on issues related to research into energy storage (electrochemical, high-temperature thermal and thermochemical cycles using) and the training of researchers. Specifically, it sets the framework for collaboration on the following areas:
* Joint research
* Education projects
* Employee swapping
* Joint use of infrastructures
